Meet Me

Zoe is a first-generation college graduate, who started posting her journey on TikTok and Instagram as Grad School Tips while working in Georgetown University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

From advocating for smoke-free schools to working in scientific research, Zoe is a versatile, gen z science & health communicator and a non traditional pre-med. Her journey started as a grassroots activist, which led to the passing of HB 2384 and SB 1295 in Virginia's legislation banning tobacco and e-cigarette products on all school property. As an aspiring physician-bioethicist, her professional work blends scientific inquiry through a behavioral marketing lens.

Zoe earned her undergraduate degree in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Virginia in 2021. She then created Grad School Tips after seeing students—like herself—struggle with navigating higher education, initially sharing funding and application tips and tricks. Now, Zoe shares her own non-linear journey applying to Medical School and all aspects of life. She considers herself to be a creative empath inspired by her artist dad and her mother’s love for animals—using her creativity to drive positive social change.

She recently graduated with her Master’s in Bioethics from Harvard Medical School, focusing on clinical ethics and contributing to various research projects while also working full-time on a national research study.
